Students are expected to attend class at each meeting. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class. If you are not present when attendance is taken, you should notify me at the end of class to ensure I mark you present. Nevertheless, I understand that life happens, and you may need to miss a class. You will receive two free absences during the semester—no questions asked. After that, your grade will be reduced.
Attendance will be accumulated at two times during the semester:
- at midterm
- at the end of the semester.
Note
Attendance is worth 10% of your final grade.
