Each student will bring a hard copy of their essay to class on the due date. You will exchange essays with someone NOT in your domain group to provide feedback. You will provide
How to do peer review:
- Do NOT take this as a time to focus on grammar or spelling. Instead, focus on the content of the essay.
- Fill out the rubric as part of your review.
- Provide two pieces of positive feedback.
- Do not provide fluff.
- Be specific about what you liked.
- Provide two pieces of constructive feedback.
- Constructive feedback should also be kind and respectful.
- It should be specific and actionable.
- And, it should provide recommendations on how to improve the essay.
When you are done with the peer review, discuss your feedback with one another.
Finally, when complete send one copy of the feedback to the author and turn in another via Canvas.
